Vegetarian/Vegan Social Networks, Personals, Singles, Dating Site Annotated Links

    The International Vegetarian Union used to have a links page like this, but unfortunately they deleted it years ago, so I started this in 2012--maybe 10 years after I started using such sites.

Happy Cow (free) is one of the oldest vegetarian/vegan social networks (started as a restaurant guide). It has a dating group.

    The first few of these sites also have non-vegetarians--sometimes on separate sites in a network--but they all have many vegetarians/vegans.
    Many so-called vegetarian/vegan personals sites--not listed here--that can be found on popular search engines are actually part of a larger network with mostly non-vegetarians. Certain sites look similar, and as soon as one signs up, one will probably receive many messages from non-vegetarians. Those particular ones are also rather expensive sites. It is also said some sites use fake profiles.
    There are some international (besides that most here are) and United Kingdom (UK) sites, but I am omitting the ones that remove your profile after a period or, because of very poor search features, are not very worth one's time.
    Unfortunately with the popularity of the internet, people are scattered in more places across it... the sites below are in the order that I use them, starting with some of the most popular and useful ones.

Passions Network (Vegetarian Passions, Vegan Passions) (free) is one of the oldest, most popular personals networks, but their search is limited to geographic area.

Free Date (Friends Date Network) is a new personals site. Some vegetarians/vegans can be found there.

Veggie Connection (free) is one of the oldest, and probably most popular vegetarian/vegan personals sites.

Green Singles is an environmentalist personals agency that existed before the internet became public. Many vegetarians/vegans are there. It recently became part of Conscious Dating Network, which includes Conscious Singles, Planet Earth Singles, a newer environmentalist one, and Spiritual Singles, one of the first spiritual ones. All members are visible on all three sites, and many vegetarians/vegans can be found there.
